About the position

IGN is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our Gaming & Entertainment sales vertical. This is a unique opportunity to learn the digital advertising business from the ground up. You will collaborate with internal teams across the organization to help make marketing campaigns come to life for the world’s largest brands. This is a hybrid position in Los Angeles, CA that requires working in the office 3 days a week. This role generally follows a full-time schedule, with occasional expectations to work outside standard hours for client needs and events. This role also requires travel for client meetings and events. This role primarily involves computer-based work with extended periods of sitting or standing and regular use of hands and vision for tasks such as typing. Occasional travel is required, which could include lifting and carrying materials, and navigating airports, hotels, and other venues.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the central support hub for Sales Managers and Account Executives by managing and organizing proposals, campaign wrap reports, and ad tags.
  • Assist with Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions by pulling research, securing ad inventory, and preparing visually appealing presentation materials.
  • Support campaign execution, including managing ad trafficking, performing quality assurance (QA) on custom creative, monitoring campaign pacing, and assisting with final campaign reporting.
  • Manage the ad reservation system and ensure the accuracy of detailed records of business in Salesforce and other internal tools.
  • Maintain clear communication and alignment with internal teams, including Revenue Operations, Finance, Creative Strategy, and Client Services.
  • Develop a strong understanding of IGN's full suite of advertising products (display, branded content, video, social, programmatic) to support the development of sales materials.

Requirements

  • You are highly organized and skilled at multitasking, able to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with ease.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • You are proactive and enthusiastic about collaboration and problem-solving. You will learn to write clear, concise, and professional emails.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office is required, along with the ability to quickly learn new software and proprietary systems
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Nice-to-haves

  • A deep passion for entertainment, gaming, and pop culture.
  • You are interested in pursuing a career in digital advertising/ media, and are generally interested in this industry
  • Prior experience at a media company or agency (digital media)
  • Knowledge of Comscore (research tools) and Photoshop is a plus
