Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our commercial team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of sales experience within a recruitment agency, HR software, or fintech company, ideally with a direct competitor or a payments partner of TFY.

This role is critical to driving pipeline growth by identifying, qualifying, and converting opportunities with HR decision-makers, particularly HR Directors and senior HR stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients within mid-market and enterprise segments

  • Sell TFY solutions to HR Directors, Heads of HR, People & Talent leaders, and related stakeholders

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of HR terminology, workforce management, and contractor engagement models

  • Navigate conversations around hiring seasonality, workforce scalability, and managing external workforce and independent contractors

  • Own the end-to-end sales process, from deal origination and qualification through to deal closure

  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships teams to optimize go-to-market strategies

  • Accurately forecast opportunities and maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems

  • Represent TFY professionally in sales calls, demos, and negotiations

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in:

  • Recruitment agency, HR software, or fintech environment

  • Ideally a direct competitor of TFY or a payments partner operating in the HR / workforce ecosystem

  • Proven experience selling to HR Directors or senior HR stakeholders

  • Strong knowledge of:

HR processes and terminology

Hiring cycles and seasonality

External workforce management and independent contractor models

Demonstrated experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure

Hands-on experience with sales CRMs, such as HubSpot or Salesforce (mandatory)

Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

Experience selling SaaS, HR tech, payroll, EOR, contractor management, or payments solutions

Existing network within HR, talent, or workforce management communities

Experience working in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment
