You as part of tonies:
The Sales & Operations Manager - Walmart & Sam’s will play an influential role for the Walmart and Sam’s Club omnichannel business. This role will also be responsible for collaborative analytics, planning, forecasting and replenishment for Walmart & Sam's Club. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to both set strategy and drive execution.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

Account Operations:

  • Work closely with the Account & Ecommerce Sales Managers to identify opportunities for growth and develop actionable plans.

  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with Walmart & Sam’s Club teams (sales analytics, replenishment, supply chain, and online merchandising team).

  • Work with Replenishment Manager to manage instock levels, store inventory, forecasts, MABD/OTIF and order management.

  • Responsible for working with internal teams to resolve any EDI errors (pricing, ASN, etc)

  • Oversee forecast, purchase orders, logistics, and supply chain coordination to ensure proper store sales, inventory and OTIF compliance.

  • Act as a liaison between internal teams (sales enablement, trade marketing, operations, logistics, finance) and Walmart to streamline communication.

Data & Digital Excellence:

  • Manage weekly sales reporting and leverage data for actionable insights on inventory, sales growth, forecast adjustments and shopper behavior.

  • Drive digital-first strategies, including improving Walmart.com performance through optimized FC inventory, listings, enhanced content, and e-commerce promotions.

  • Implement digital tools and platforms for forecasting, reporting, and supply chain efficiency.

Marketing Collaboration:

  • Partner with the marketing team to create Walmart-specific in-store and online campaigns.

  • Ensure alignment with Walmart’s omnichannel goals, such as integrating promotions across physical stores and Walmart.com.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Manage and track weekly key performance metrics like sales growth, inventory, OTIF, instocks, and chargebacks, making recommendations to improve performance.

  • Work closely with our Sales Enablement team and Trade Marketing team on new item launches and promotional features.

  • Understand and analyze product categories to optimize product placement and manage product assortment to meet customer needs while maximizing sales potential.

What we are looking for:
  • +10 years of on hand experience on Walmart, Walmart.com, Sam’s Club & Sam’s Club.com

  • Strong understanding of Walmart tools & resources including Nova, Item 360, Ladder Plan, Retail Link,Scintilla, Walmart Seller Center, Supplier One, Salsify, etc.

  • Experience with syndicated data a plus

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain processes such as Forecasting & Replenishment, Financial planning, Store Operations, Inventory Management, Order (retailer) Management, and Distribution & Logistics

  • Prior Walmart Toy Department Experience preferred

  • Strong written communication and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent customer service orientation; Ability to ensure a high level of service and quality is maintained

  • Ability to gather data, to compile information, and present reports.

  • Self-motivated, sense of urgency, attention to detail, and capability to prioritize effectively

  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals.
