It is our shared responsibility to maintain the first-class reputation associated with the franchise in all aspects of our business.<br /> The Yankees Digital & Social Content team is looking for a bilingual social media assistant to create and share content across the Yankees Beisbol social media platforms. The Spanish Social Media Assistant will support in-game social and digital platforms and other Spanish-language projects for the department. This is a seasonal position and is expected to end at the conclusion of the 2026 regular season.<br /> We are looking for a bilingual creative storyteller with a passion for social media and baseball. This role will be tasked with creating and writing content for Yankees Spanish social media platforms. Additionally, this position will directly engage with Yankees fans across Spanish social media platforms by overseeing community management efforts.<br /> <br /> Primary Responsibilities:<br /> • Create and post content on all Yankees Beisbol channels (Facebook, X, Instagram) throughout the season<br /> • Assist with in-game social responsibilities for all home and away games<br /> • Oversee fan engagement and community management efforts across Yankees Beisbol platforms<br /> • Work with club social and content teams to identify opportunities for Spanish-first content<br /> • Translate graphics, copy, and other digital assets<br /> • Assist the Digital & Social Content Department with other projects as assigned<br /> <br /> Qualifications and Experience:<br /> • Must be bilingual (Spanish/English) and fluent (spoken and written) in Spanish<br /> • Must be available to work home games (in-person/remote) and away games (remote)<br /> • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of all social media platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)<br /> • Excellent writing skills and prove ability to write for social media platforms<br /> • Excellent decision-making skills<br /> • Working knowledge of graphic design and video/editing production<br /> • Working knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom<br /> • Strong passion for social media, digital content, and current trends<br /> • Extensive knowledge of baseball<br /> This description is intended to describe the type of work being performed by a person assigned to this position.
