Security Guard, Airport Employee Screener Description Position at VMD Corp Join VMD Corp, part of Xcelerate Solutions and a leader in providing passenger and checked baggage screening services at various airports across the United States. VMD Corp has an immediate need for Full-Time Airport Employee Screener with an active Security Guard Card. What you will do: Grow in a fulfilling career as an Airport Employee Screener working alongside a team of aviation security professionals. You will use your outstanding customer service and critical-thinking skills while identifying and preventing unsafe objects from exiting the airport. Responsibilities specific to this role include, but are not limited to: • Conduct thorough and efficient screening of airport employees entering restricted areas. • Verify the identity and credentials of employees using established procedures. • Operate screening equipment, such as metal detectors to detect prohibited items. • Enforce security regulations and policies in a professional and courteous manner. • Monitor employee behavior and report any suspicious activities or violations. • Collaborate with airport authorities and law enforcement to address security concerns or incidents. • Provide clear and concise instructions to employees regarding the screening process. • Conduct property searches as part of the overall security strategy. • Respond promptly to alarms or alerts generated by screening equipment. • Maintain accurate records of screening activities and incidents.
