It’s a chance for driven professionals to grow, learn, and make a real difference.</p><p></p><p>If you are interested in exploring the possibilities <b>We Want to Talk to You!</b></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b><span>The Difference You Make:</span></b></p><p></p><p>The <b>Senior Analyst, Controllership – SEC (Securities & Exchange Commission)</b> <b>Reporting </b>is responsible for the reporting, analysis, and documentation of assigned job areas within the accounting and financial reporting function, specifically preparing the SHUSA Form 10-Q and Form 10-K.</p><p></p><p><b>Ideal Candidate:</b></p><ul><li>Accounting or Finance related 4-year degree.</li><li>Public accounting experience; A plus, if 2-3 years of “Big Four” experience</li><li>Knowledge of US GAAP financial reporting</li><li>CPA preferred.</li><li>Execute internal controls.</li><li>Analytical skills and process automation</li><li>Data analysis – Power BI experience</li><li>Detail orientated.</li><li>Hybrid position – Must be able to work in Santander office 3 days a week.</li></ul><ul><li>This function’s responsibilities are demonstrating expertise in processing transactions, recording accounting entries, managing the general ledger and reconciliations, and interpreting and complying with technical accounting matters and financial reporting disclosure requirements.</li><li>Through the Controllership function, stakeholders receive relevant insight and commentary on transaction-level and financial results for analysis and decision making.</li><li>Administers the processing, accounting entries, reconciliations, reporting, analysis, and documentation of assigned job areas within the accounting reporting team.</li><li>Improves the effectiveness of the accounting reporting team by adjusting and/or enhancing current accounting and reporting processes.</li><li>Creates and/or improves the accounting and reporting processes; recommends enhancements or improvements to improve effectiveness of reporting team.</li><li>Prepares or reviews regulatory reports and research to resolve discrepancies or significant variances.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What You Bring:</span></b><br /><span>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week.
