Together we continue to grow as the world’s leading energy company!<br /><br /><b>Job Description: </b></p><p>We are seeking a Senior Procurement Delivery Advisor to support the Site Projects portfolio across bp’s US refining assets. Our US refineries represent about 40% of bp’s global refining capacity, producing the energy people need for everyday life.</p><p>In this role You will:</p><ul><li>Partner with the Site Projects Organization in planning and execution of capital projects at the site.</li><li>be accountable for procurement delivery and execution of Site Project scopes.</li><li>lead the procurement team for the various package delivery scopes.</li><li>lead and coordinate the implementation of the project specific contracting and procurement strategies.</li><li>supervise timely execution of contracts to meet project schedules and the resultant contractor performance management.</li><li>be the Site Projects procurement interface into local leadership teams and requirements.</li><li>Work with category and SCS teams to ensure timeliness and quality of sourcing and contracting; oversee day-to-day interaction with FBT.</li><li>Lead contract management; perform all contract management activities including contract set-up and handover from Sourcing (working in close partnership with SCS teams), change negotiation, localization, on-boarding contract holders and suppliers, contract implementation, disputes and claims, close-out and exit, and compliance management.</li><li>Support the interface with third-party engineering contractors to assure delivery of on-time, underbudget project delivery.</li><li>Lead supplier performance management and compliance program including supplier planning, target setting and holding key meetings.</li></ul><p></p><p>What You will need to be successful:</p><ul><li>University degree and proven experience professional experience in Engineering, Procurement, Law or other technical field.</li><li>Master’s Degree (MBA or equivalent) and Professional PSCM qualification (MCIPS, CPM, CPSM) or equivalent is desired.</li><li>experience of Project and Refinery Contracting and Procurement including contracting strategy development and identification of opportunities and value levers that enable effective execution and delivery.</li><li>Skilled at leading through complexity, implementing projects in multi-stakeholder, multi-discipline, multi-cultural environments, with regional and country-specific issues and challenges.</li><li>Strong influential leadership and integration skills to work with projects to deliver pragmatic value driven decisions.</li><li>Deep understanding of the potential executive risks to assess appropriate allocation.</li><li>Experience of Construction RFP Package preparation and evaluation.</li><li>Experience of contract management and performance activities of Contracts including change management and variation negotiation.</li><li>Knowledge of current project management, contracting and procurement standard practices including new and emerging digital tools. change management and variation negotiation.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the project team, contractors and project leadership.</li><li>Experience and ability to craft different risk / reward commercial and contracting models.</li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria</b></p><ul><li>Experience of procurement in Projects and Refining Environments</li><li>Understanding of procurement in Oil & Gas operations</li><li>Understanding of building Operations Strategies, Contracting Models and Contracts</li><li>Understanding of energy transition and projects supporting low carbon energy initiatives</li><li>Experience with P2P systems, especially operational procurement</li></ul><p></p><p>Why join bp:<br />At bp, we support our people to learn and grow in a diverse and ambitious environment.
