Senior Data Analyst

Due to the increasingly integral role data plays in our product and platform, we’re looking to expand our Data team and would love for you to join us as a Senior Data Analyst

You will be helping to define how we evidence customer readiness to protect themselves from cyber attacks. You will be working with learner data gathered from our upskilling, assessments and exercises to measure human capability and how this can be translated into actionable insight for our customers. I mean, it does sound impressive doesn’t it?

You will help support the product team internally to make data informed decisions with product analytics and define the metrics and data visualisations that customers see on the platform.

Working closely with both the Product leaders and Data leads you will ensure that not only do we meet the needs of our customers now but we also align to our future vision.

We are a fast paced organisation and we are scaling quickly - but that also means you get heaps of autonomy, the ability to genuinely influence, and work with a great bunch of folks.


Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Work with Product Managers to ensure the in platform reporting meets customer needs

  • Liaise with data engineering to ensure data sets that are needed are available and consumable within the platform apps

  • Work in cross functional teams with designers, engineers and product managers to create designs for any changes that can be circulated with stakeholders before build

  • Service customer success and marketing requests for analysis to support customers and knowledge sharing

  • Work with user researcher to present qualitative and quantitative data on our product to leadership to inform the product strategy

  • A strategic, inquisitive and innovative mindset with the ability to anticipate customer needs, interpret requirements and deliver consistently high-quality output

  • Commercial awareness and able to spot opportunities to use data and build appropriate data models

  • Polished communication & presentation skills with the ability to tell stories through the data

  • Effective delivery skills with the ability to work well under pressure in an Agile environment

  • In-depth SQL knowledge - You should know your left from your right joins

  • Experience with Data Visualisation, Analysis, Warehousing tools (we use Looker/ DBT / Snowflake - you don’t need to know these specific ones)

  • Knowledge of some statistical techniques

  • Interest in Learning Analytics approaches
