In this role, you will lead the front-end platform, design system, and component libraries that enable rapid, accessible, and performant user interfaces across web and mobile.</p><p></p><p><b>What you will be doing:</b></p><ul><li>Lead the strategy, development, and governance of the enterprise design system and component libraries.</li><li>Establish and enforce front-end performance standards (Core Web Vitals) and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA).</li><li>Drive architectural decisions for frameworks, build tools, and testing strategies.</li><li>Collaborate with UX/UI, product, and backend teams for seamless integration.</li><li>Mentor and lead a team of front-end platform engineers, evangelizing best practices.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you bring:</b></p><ul><li>Experience leading front-end platform or design systems teams.</li><li>Track record in building and scaling design systems and component libraries.</li><li>Deep expertise in web performance optimization and accessibility.</li><li>Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), TypeScript, and build tools.</li><li>Experience with cross-platform (web and mobile) technologies and responsive design</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Educational Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or other related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we offer you:</b><br />A career at FIS is more than just a job. The pay range for this full-time position is $174,750.00 - $293,590.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
