About the position

The role of the Senior Growth Analyst/Category Development is that of a key contributor to our team. You will be responsible for executing strategies and identifying opportunities for growth. You will work on specific tasks or segments within a brand, channel, line, category or team with clearly defined objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and lead developments of new ideas, techniques, procedures, services, or products.
  • Focus on one or more brands, channels, lines, categories or team with clearly defined objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively within immediate team or work domain to maximize job impact and personal learning.
  • Work under limited supervision and determine own priorities within established guidelines and practices.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and execute strategies in a team or organization.
  • Experience in identifying and leading developments of new ideas, techniques, procedures, services, or products.
  • Ability to focus on specific tasks or segments within a brand, channel, line, category or team with clearly defined objectives.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to network effectively within immediate team or work domain.
  • Self-directed with the ability to determine own priorities within established guidelines and practices.
  • A Bachelor or Masters' Degree in a quantitative field (Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Management/Business Information Systems or related degree).
  • 2-4+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis with analytics techniques to solve defined business problems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Related full-time or internship experience with Consumer Packaged Goods, Media, Retailer, or e-Comm industry analytics.
  • Data management and visualization skills / tools (SQL, KNIME, Spotfire, Power BI or similar).
  • Programming languages (Python, R, C+ or Java).
