This position involves leading and supporting HR projects, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing consultation on complex HR issues. This role will also be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, analyzing HR data, and collaborating with senior management on strategic initiatives.<br><br>This role will be located in the Remote Southern California area.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Duties/Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Leads HR projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.</li><li>Lead investigations and recommend resolutions for all low and medium severity level cases, supports HRBP with high level severity investigations.</li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert on complex HR issues, providing consultation and support to leadership and staff.</li><li>Provide expert advice to management on HR related issues. This could involve advising on the best practices for grievance resolution, employee engagement or strategies for improving our culture.</li><li>Evaluate various courses of action and make informed decisions based on these assessments. Use independent discretion to select the most effective approach to resolve complex employee relations issues.</li><li>Develops and implements HR policies and procedures, providing guidance and training to staff on best practices.</li><li>Analyzes HR metrics and data to identify trends, inform decision making, and recommend improvements to HR leadership.</li><li>Partner with the Learning team and HRBP in facilitating leadership training and development programs to enhance managerial skills and organizational effectiveness.</li><li>Collaborates with senior management to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies, including workforce planning and succession planning.</li><li>Oversees employee engagement initiatives, conducting surveys and focus groups to gather feedback and implement action plans.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><h2>Required Skills/Abilities:</h2><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.</li><li>Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</li><li>Demonstrate a sense of urgency in responding to employee/manager requests</li><li>Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and Case Management systems in Workday.</li></ul><h2>Education and Experience:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred</li><li>5+ years of human resource experience preferred</li><li>SHRM-CP a plus</li></ul><p></p><h2>Physical Requirements:</h2><ul><li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. </li><li>Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>Benefits Available:</b></p><p></p><p>At Cinemark, we believe every team member should feel like a hero.
