Job Description:

  • Leads HR projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
  • Lead investigations and recommend resolutions for all low and medium severity level cases, supports HRBP with high level severity investigations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex HR issues, providing consultation and support to leadership and staff.
  • Provide expert advice to management on HR related issues.
  • Evaluate various courses of action and make informed decisions based on these assessments.
  • Use independent discretion to select the most effective approach to resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Develops and implements HR policies and procedures, providing guidance and training to staff on best practices.
  • Analyzes HR metrics and data to identify trends, inform decision making, and recommend improvements to HR leadership.
  • Partner with the Learning team and HRBP in facilitating leadership training and development programs to enhance managerial skills and organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborates with senior management to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies, including workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Oversees employee engagement initiatives, conducting surveys and focus groups to gather feedback and implement action plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of human resource experience preferred
  • SHRM-CP a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in responding to employee/manager requests
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and Case Management systems in Workday.
