Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Senior Manager, Global Logistics Operations, based in the EMEA or LATAM regions, to join our team. The Senior Manager, Global Logistics Operations, is responsible for end-to-end execution, management, and optimization of logistics operations across all physical goods and event-related supply chains. This is a senior operational leadership role focused on turning direction and priorities into consistent, high-quality execution. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to come in and be a builder in a start-up tech environment.

Please note: This is a remote contract role (40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, invoiced monthly) EMEA-based. Working Hours: 6 am EST - 3 pm EST; 12 pm-9 pm (GMT+1)

Responsibilities 

  • Own end-to-end logistics execution across regions, including warehousing, fulfillment, shipping, returns, and inventory management
  • Ensure logistics timelines align with business needs and client commitments
  • Serve as the primary escalation owner for logistics delivery issues, identifying risks early and implementing mitigation plans
  • Lead and manage Regional Logistics Managers across multiple regions, setting clear expectations, operating rhythms, and performance standards
  • Ensure consistent execution globally while accounting for regional nuances and constraints
  • Support team development, vendor escalations, and resolution of performance issues
  • Oversee execution of vendor and carrier relationships managed by regional teams, ensuring SLAs and service levels are met
  • Review vendor performance data, intervene when needed, and ensure contingency and backup plans are in place
  • Drive continuous optimization of the 3PL network, including vendor transitions based on performance, cost efficiency, and regional needs
  • Define, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures across regions to ensure consistent workflows and controls
  • Reduce manual processes, errors, and last-minute escalations through operational rigor and process improvement
  • Own exception handling during high-volume or high-risk operational periods
  • Own logistics reporting, dashboards, and KPIs, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates from regional teams
  • Provide leadership with clear visibility into logistics performance, risks, and trends
  • Partner with internal teams to improve systems, tools, and operational workflows
  • Oversee logistics spend across regions, including vendor payments, forecasting, invoice validation, and spend tracking
  • Lead implementation and optimization of an e-procurement platform
  • Identify and execute cost-efficiency improvements while ensuring spend aligns with approved budgets
  • Maintain flexibility in working hours, with partial overlap with EST required to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, despite the role being based in EMEA

Requirements

  • 6+ years in logistics, supply chain, or operations
  • Prior experience managing managers in a multi-region environment
  • Strong background in logistics, 3PLs, and carrier operations
  • Proven ability to standardize processes across geographies
  • Professional fluency in the Google Suite, MS Excel, Word, and other relevant inventory and project management tools
  • Ability to organize, analyze, and communicate data clearly using spreadsheets and other tools
  • Ability to work independently, adapt, and problem-solve in response to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Highly organized with extreme attention to detail
  • Experience with sourcing products, conducting quality control, and vendor management (knowledge of these areas in Asian markets is a plus)
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
