You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions.

This role requires a balance of technical expertise, problem-solving, and client-facing collaboration — ensuring every solution aligns with the company's values of building strong relationships, driving customer success, and sharing a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement tailored SharePoint solutions that meet client objectives while maintaining security, performance, and user experience standards.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and deliverables.
  • Customise and extend SharePoint using SPFx, including web parts, extensions, adaptive card extensions (ACEs), and form customisations.
  • Develop solutions using Microsoft Graph and SharePoint REST APIs (v1 & v2) as core components of modern SharePoint Online development.
  • Design and deliver integrations across Microsoft 365 including Teams Apps, Office Add-ins, and Outlook/Exchange-based solutions.
  • Design and execute SharePoint migrations, ensuring data integrity, minimal downtime, and smooth user transition.
  • Maintain and optimise existing SharePoint environments, applying patches, updates, and performance tuning where required.
  • Implement and manage automation using Power Apps, Power Automate (Flows), and Copilot Studio.
  • Leverage PnP Provisioning, PowerShell PnP, Office 365 CLI, Azure DevOps pipelines, and related deployment tools for environment configuration and continuous delivery.
  • Ensure front-end engineering best practices using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and configuration details, providing training and guidance to end-users and colleagues.
  • Uphold best practices in security, governance, and development, ensuring compliance with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, ensuring high-quality solutions and exceptional client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience designing, building, and delivering SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions for small to enterprise-scale clients.
  • Strong expertise in SharePoint Development including:
  • Application customisers, web parts, list view command sets, form customisations, and ACEs.
  • SPFx deployment options and tenant-wide solutions.
  • Advanced experience in Graph API and SharePoint REST API for modern SharePoint Online development.
  • Experience delivering integrations using Teams Apps, Office Add-ins, and Outlook/Exchange add-ins.
  • Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio including custom connectors and API integrations.
  • Proficiency with PnP Provisioning, PowerShell PnP, Office 365 CLI, SharePoint CSOM API, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Strong front-end development skills using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS/SCSS, JSON, XML, NodeJS, and associated build tools (Gulp, Webpack, NPM, NVM).
  • Working knowledge of Azure services including service principals and Azure Functions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Teams, Entra, Viva, Yammer, Outlook/Exchange, and Stream.
  • Understanding of Information Architecture, Governance, and Microsoft Purview.
  • Proficient in client engagement, requirements gathering, and solution design using the Microsoft 365 stack.
  • Experience with SharePoint Server (2010–2019) environments — architecture, migration, and patch management.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with migration tools such as ShareGate, BitTitan, MigrationWiz.
  • Background in training delivery for Microsoft 365 end-users or power users.
  • Hands-on experience with Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or M365 Agent Toolkit.
  • Broader experience across governance, security, and compliance within Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Additional depth in Information Architecture and Microsoft Purview beyond the core requirements.
  • Experience contributing to enhanced design documentation and solution planning frameworks.
