Job Title: Software Developer IV Location: REMOTE

Description:
Researches, designs, implements and manage software programs as well as testing and evaluating new programs. Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Writing and implementing efficient code. Develop quality assurance procedures and deploy software tools, processes and metrics. Works closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts. Acts as team leader on projects. Participates in development of software user manuals. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team. Consults with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.

Background:
The primary responsibility for this role will be application support, with a strong emphasis on DevSecOps initiatives, environment management, report generation, and related operational tasks. The resource will mainly support the Client's eCommerce Platform, a key revenue-generating application within the Commerce Tech Applications portfolio, as well as its closely integrated applications (Endeca, Enterprise Search, and Oracle Web Center Content). These additional applications are mainly maintenance applications rather than being actively developed but do require updates as needed for security vulnerabilities, patches, etc. As time permits, the resource may also contribute to new feature development and defect resolution.

List of tasks to be performed:
Experience developing, maintaining, and updating software applications using Java 8 or similar versions of Java.
Web Development experience using React, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS.
Experience in application support including but not limited to querying and analyzing database information, environment deployments to web and application servers, performing load and performance testing, certificate management, and monitoring server health.
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
Experience with Git version control and GitHub.
Experience using Oracle Commerce products ATG Web Commerce 11.4, Endeca Commerce 11.4, and Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 11.4.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using EBS Jenkins or GitHub Actions to orchestrate builds, automated testing, and deployments.
Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, and Linux servers.
Experience using Ansible for configuration management and automation.

Additional Required Skills/Experience:
A minimum of Eight (8) years relevant experience.
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required.
Typically performs all functional duties independently.
Note: Special credentials (licenses and/or certifications) may be required at the Task Order level on a case-specific basis."

Additional Provisions:
Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
Once candidate s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e. collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women. Place and Period of Performance Hours of support:
o The standard work week for contract staff will be 5 days a week and 8 hours per day preferable Monday through Friday.
