PURPOSE:
Manages and implements custom extensions within TriZetto Facets application. This role plays a critical part in enabling seamless integration, configuration, and performance of core payer functions like enrollment, claims, billing, and customer service. Focuses on building robust custom extensions that align with business workflows, regulatory requirements, and evolving enterprise technology strategies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop, enhance, and support extensions and custom modules.
  • Analyse business and technical requirements to create scalable extension solutions within the Facets ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software in an Agile environment.
  • Support defect resolution and performance tuning of existing Facets extensions. Participate in core reviews and documentation of technical designs.
  • Work closely with integration teams to support web services, APIs, and data exchange using EDI/X12 and flat files.
  • Evaluates new systems by performing in-depth tests, including end-user reviews. Research software and related products to support recommendations and purchasing. Determines systems integration issues by evaluating components; developing and completing performance tests; analyzing test data; studying project requirements; analyzing user and potential user input; evaluating similar and related products and systems. Develop system automation and system integration of business processes.
  • Improves engineering job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Position does not have direct reports but is expected to assist in guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. May lead a team of matrixed resources.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 8 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Licenses/Certifications Preferred:
  • ITIL Foundations v3 within 180 Days
Experience:
  • 8 years of experience with Trizetto Facets platform.
  • Strong experience in developing Facets extensions using .Net (C#), PL/SQL, Angular.
  • Experience working with core Facets modules such as claims, membership, provider, and billing.
  • Proficiency with Facets batch jobs, schedules, and integration points.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies and using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
  • Familiarity with performance tuning, debugging, and unit testing techniques.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Facets on-prem and cloud (Azure). Exposure to CI/CD practices and tools. Certification in relevant (AWS/Azure) cloud platforms.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Knowledge of programming languages and web-based technologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to collaborate to solve technical problems across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
Salary Range:
  • $96,552 - $191,763
