<p><strong>Staff Accountant - Fully Remote UHNW Family Office - $80k- $110k + B and company paid benefits</strong></p><p><br></p><p><u>The Company:</u></p><p>An Ultra-High-Net-Worth Single Family Office is seeking an experienced Family Office Accountant to support its U.S. based operations. This is a newly created role due to a planned retirement and offers a rare opportunity to step into a well-established family office with significant assets across multiple asset classes.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>While the role is fully remote, candidates must reside within commuting distance of New York City and be available to come into the city on occasion for in-person meetings.</em></strong></p><p><br></p><p><u>The Role:</u></p><p>Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will support all firmwide accounting functions. The incoming hire will work alongside a long-tenured accounting professional who is retiring later this year, allowing for a meaningful overlap and knowledge transfer.</p><p><br></p><p>This position is ideal for a hands-on accountant with 3+ years of experience who is looking to deepen their exposure to UHNW family office operations and grow long-term within a stable, relationship-driven environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee accounts payable and bill pay across family office and gallery entities</li><li>Manage sales tax and inventory accounting, particularly for fine art held in storage and sold via catalogs or online platforms</li><li>Support art gallery accounting, including AP and payroll (currently manual for gallery staff)</li><li>Assist with bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations</li><li>Participate in ongoing cleanup and organization of legacy entities and historical transactions</li><li>Provide accounting support related to:</li><li>Art financing transactions</li><li>Real estate holdings</li><li>Investment activity across multiple asset classes</li><li>Trust and foundation structures</li><li>Work within QuickBooks and Bill.com, with opportunities to improve processes over time</li><li>Collaborate closely with senior leadership and external advisors as needed</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of accounting experience within a single family office environment (required)</li><li>Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Bill.com</li><li>Experience handling multi-entity accounting</li><li>High attention to detail and comfort working with complex, non-traditional assets</li><li>Ability to operate independently in a remote environment</li><li>Based in the NYC metro area with the ability to commute into the city as needed</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Base Salary: </strong>$80k- $110k plus bonus, company paid medical, dental vision, and other benefits/perks!</p><p><br></p><p>The above salary range represents Advice's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is not reflective of the total compensation package, which may also include benefits, equity and other non-cash incentives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Please send your resume for immediate consideration to:bsedita@adviceny.com </strong></p><p><br></p><p><em>If this particular role isn't the ideal fit, please feel free to forward your resume to the email above to explore other available opportunities.
