We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Stagehand to join our production team.<br /> This hands-on role is essential for the technical and physical support of our daily productions. Must be able to deliver and pick up materials offsite as needed to support productions.<br /> • Work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.<br /> Required Qualifications & Physical Demands<br /> • Education: High school diploma (or equivalent) is required. A 2-4 year college/technical degree is preferred.<br /> • Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent, relevant experience as a stagehand, set technician, or similar role in a live broadcast, theatrical, or production environment.<br /> • Driving: Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid local driver's license (DC, MD, VA), be able to drive, and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and insurance eligibility.<br /> • Physical Demands:<br /> • Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.<br /> • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.<br /> • Physical dexterity required, including the ability to go up and down stairs, climb ladders, bend, squat/crouch, kneel, and twist.<br /> Additional Details<br /> FOX 5 DC / FOX 5 Plus is a 24/7 operation. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays, and in the case of breaking news. Candidate will also be required to join the I.A.T.S.E Local 819 union.
