If you want to sell a category-defining product with real ownership, this is your team.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p> <p>The Startups Partnership team is a core growth engine at Brex, playing a pivotal role in driving top-of-funnel leads to the team and expanding our market footprint. In this role, you will be focused on expanding our presence within the Y combinator ecosystem by building strong relationships, cultivating partnerships from the ground up, seamlessly integrating new partners into our ecosystem, and consistently hitting targets by transforming these connections into a steady stream of client referrals. If you’re excited about working closely with founders at the earliest stages and scaling a high-impact ecosystem partnership, this could be your chance to make a significant impact in a fast growing environment.</p> <p><strong>Where you’ll work</strong></p> <p>This role will be based in our San Francisco or New York City office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify, cultivate, and deepen relationships with YC partners, staff, and founders</li> <li>Craft and implement tailored go-to-market strategies for each partner</li> <li>Facilitate smooth onboarding of new partners and their teams</li> <li>Serve as a product expert, articulating our value proposition to partners</li> <li>Be the connective tissue for partners to the Brex ecosystem</li> <li>Work cross-functionally across marketing, growth, direct sales, and product & engineering to drive co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients, and inform our product roadmap</li> <li>Conduct regular performance reviews with key partners</li> <li>Become an expert in Brexs product, features, and workflows and augment the voice of our partners</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years in a partnerships or closing sales role</li> <li>Understanding of the venture community and how to drive partnerships</li> <li>Demonstrated track record of consistently hitting targets and quotas</li> <li>Ability to deliver tailored, consultative solutions that align with partner’s needs and business goals</li> <li>Ability to evaluate partnership performance, identify areas for optimization, and implement data-driven solutions</li> <li>Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment</li> <li>Proven ability to build trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders</li> <li>Passion for community events and activations with partners</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <p>The expected OTE range for this role is $185,320 - $231,650. The starting wage will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity.
