As an Entertainment Strategy and Analytics Manager, you will serve as the primary partner with Disney Live Entertainment Production, Technical Production and Design, Creative Development, and Entertainment General Managers to develop projects and long-term strategy.  You will partner closely with Consumer Insights, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Product and Franchise Strategy and other lines of business to develop and cultivate metrics, methodologies, and reporting to support strategy and the Entertainment portfolio. This is a full time role and reports to the Manager, Strategy & Analytics. What you will do: Provide critical thinking, problem solving, and strategic planning support for Disney Live Entertainment through research, data mining and analysis, story-building, analytical project management, risk assessment, and reporting Pursue solutions to complex problems that focus on optimizing the Guest experience, Cast experience, and business results Support Entertainment change initiatives across the site in a strategic consulting and project management capacity Lead process improvement and optimization efforts through various methods including defining success parameters, data collection and analysis, tool development, and process mapping Collaborate with analytical thought partners including Industrial Engineering, Consumer Insights, and Finance to ensure the data collected supports entertainment business needs Translate technical information to a non-technical audience so that analytical and creative teams can work together effectively Develop clear and concise presentations to optimize awareness, guidance, and decision-making for our Creative Development, Technical Production and Design, Production and executive teams Hire, lead, develop, and separate hourly non-union Cast Members Provide counsel and direction for a broad swath of leaders across multiple levels of the DLE-WDW organization Required Qualifications and Skills: 3+ years of strategy development and analytics experience Intermediate knowledge of all functional roles within DLE from creative development to sustainment Demonstrated strong analytical and project management skills Demonstrated initiative and strategic thinking ability to support highly complex work autonomously Must possess in-depth knowledge of policies, procedures, and guiding principles associated with statistics, data analytics, strategy development, storytelling, and consensus building Strong attention to detail, robust analytical, storytelling aptitude, and solid strategy development skills Demonstrated ability to assess an issue and recommend solutions with minimal leadership input Proven ability to maintain strong relationships and effective communication with partners, clients, and executive leadership pertaining to all aspects of work Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities through strong organizational skills Demonstrated verbal, written, and presentation communication skills Proven interpersonal skills including coaching, conflict resolution, problem solving, influencing, and negotiation skills Strong computer proficiency with the Microsoft Suite and SharePoint; demonstrated aptitude for new applications and analytical tools including SAP, Business Objects, PowerBi, Smartsheet, and Vizio Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience in the field of Entertainment, Theater or other related experience Proven experience with Tableau and/or other data reporting software Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred Additional Information: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
