About the position

The Albertsons Companies Supply Chain Leadership Program offers recent graduates an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and supply chain knowledge through an immersive 18-month learning experience. Participants will rotate through key departments within the organization, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic world of supply chain at Albertsons. Upon successful graduation from the program, you will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time leadership position, depending on performance and availability within Distribution Centers, Manufacturing Plants, and Supply Chain Corporate Groups. The position will be based in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in month-long rotations in various departments, including Distribution Center Operations, Manufacturing Operations, Replenishment (Buying), Sourcing, and Retail.
  • Take on challenging projects and work closely with mentors and managers to develop technical and soft skills.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing supply chain processes and improving efficiency.
  • Receive guidance and on-the-job training from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the Supply Chain network.
  • Attend workshops and training sessions on supply chain management, logistics, procurement, strategic planning, and leadership development.
  • Regular assessment of progress and performance with Department Leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration or applicable major supporting distribution, logistics, supply chain.
  • Ability to quickly develop new skills, learn new tools, and integrate new techniques.
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and managing various work assignments.
  • Highly motivated with strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative on your own.
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically.
  • Strong communication skills.
