Your role on the team: Develops training plans and processes to be implemented by Training Coordinators Monitors training activities to ensure all weekly scheduled training is conducted Develops metrics to evaluate training effectiveness; modifies training content or delivery method to meet training objectives Develops new training programs when needed, such as related to Value Added Services Compiles report to management of training statistics with recommendations for successful training activities Supervises employees including: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Responsibilities

  • Develops training plans and processes to be implemented by Training Coordinators
  • Monitors training activities to ensure all weekly scheduled training is conducted
  • Develops metrics to evaluate training effectiveness; modifies training content or delivery method to meet training objectives
  • Develops new training programs when needed, such as related to Value Added Services
  • Compiles report to management of training statistics with recommendations for successful training activities
  • Supervises employees including: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant training experience in warehouse; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of safety compliance for operating equipment
  • PC literate to include proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to partner with subject matter experts to better understand warehouse equipment and create training materials
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to conduct training classes for audiences at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to develop, write and proof training materials
  • Proven presentation and facilitation skills
