The Account Servicing team is essential to supporting the growth of Robinhood and supporting our customers at critical points of their relationship with Robinhood. This team handles a range of sensitive account servicing needs including estates, divorce, and power of attorney (POA) scenarios. We're committed to approaching each interaction with empathy, professionalism, and precision! As a Senior Specialist on the Estates and Transitional Services team , you will be the primary contact supporting customers and their loved ones through estate processing, POA transitions, and divorce-related account changes. You’ll provide informed, timely service while interpreting legal documentation and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Your work will directly impact our ability to maintain trust and deliver a high-quality experience. This role is based in our Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, and Westlake, TX offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. Responsibilities

  • Manage complex cases involving Estates, Divorce, and Power of Attorney with care, confidentiality, and attention to detail
  • Analyze documentation and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Margin, Options, Asset Movement, Retirement, Fraud) to resolve escalated cases
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, legal professionals, and internal stakeholders with clarity and professionalism
  • Stay informed on industry trends, legal changes, and Robinhood policies to ensure continued compliance and process optimization

Requirements

  • Active FINRA Series SIE, 7, and 63 or 66 licenses
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of estate, POA, and divorce processing experience within the financial industry
  • Strong understanding of estate and legal account transitions
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage sensitive customer interactions
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Critical thinking skills and proficiency with case management tools
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment with attention to detail
  • Empathetic mindset when supporting customers during difficult life events

Nice-to-haves

  • CES (Certified Estate and Trust Specialist) designation
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or Looker
