<p>Skills Provision is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a position in the United Kingdom.</p> <p>This position is located just outside of London.</p> <p>The hiring garage prides itself on high-quality service across a multitude of brands.</p> <p>Visa sponsorship may be considered for suitably qualified applicants.</p> <p> </p> <p>Title: Vehicle Technician</p> <p>Sector: Automotive</p> <p>Position: Full time</p> <p>Location: Ilford, Greater London, United Kingdom</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Remuneration</strong></p> <ul> <li>£41,000-£45,000 per year.</li> <li>28 Days of Paid Annual Leave (Including bank holidays)</li> <li>Company bonus scheme.</li> <li>Visa sponsorship if needed.</li> <li>Assistance with accommodation if needed.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Hours of Work</strong></p> <p>Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00 (45 hours per week)</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify and diagnose vehicle faults.</li> <li>Undertake scheduled maintenance and repair work.</li> <li>Keep accurate records of all work in progress and completed tasks.</li> <li>Thoroughly test components and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.</li> <li>Perform routine vehicle care, such as tyre changes and oil checks.</li> <li>Deliver a high standard of customer service.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>A minimum of five years of previous experience as a mechanic.</li> <li>Hold a formally recognised trade qualification such as a master technician or similar.</li> <li>Main brand and dealership experience is preferred, such as but not limited to Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes, BMW, VW/Audi and Porsche.</li> <li>Experience with petrol and diesel vehicles, electric and hybrid vehicles would be advantageous.</li> <li>Able to carry out major works such as head gasket replacement, engine rebuilding etc.</li> <li>Understanding of vehicle electrics would be welcomed.</li> <li>A valid UK car driving license.
