Verizon Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

  • Pinpoint and assess customer concerns by actively listening to their desired needs and providing a solution in an applicable time
  • Communicate professionally, openly, and persuasively with customers to portray the value and benefits of our client’s services, sales promotions, and products
  • Work efficiently with fellow Verizon Customer Service Representatives and Sales team members to meet or exceed customer acquisition and sales goals
  • Maintain updated customer information at all times, including account information, billing, contact information, and updated address
  • Follow all standards and company policies while interacting with customers, clients, staff members, and the management team
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute new ideas during staff meetings to upper management for discussion and implementation

Verizon Customer Service Representative Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is a must
  • 0-3 years of customer service, retail, sales, or client relations experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, meeting customer demands in a safe, accurate, and timely manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Be a team player, assisting coworkers whenever needed
  • A self-motivated and determined individual with a desire to succeed
  • This role requires full-time availability.
