Paid · Travel + Food Covered · 2 Months

Overview

I’m running and walking across the United States from Los Angeles to Jacksonville, FL to raise awareness for men’s suicide prevention and mental health.

This is an early-stage nonprofit mission, currently self-funded and supported through GoFundMe. It’s long-term, purpose-driven, and built around real human stories — not polished brand ads.

I’m looking for a videographer / content intern who wants to travel, learn fast, and be part of a meaningful, long-form project.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who’s hungry, positive, and comfortable living on the road.

Dates

April 27 – June 25, 2026 (approx. 2 months)

Compensation

Paid role (intern / early-career rate, discussed upfront)

All travel, accommodation, and food covered

Massive real-world experience and portfolio-building opportunity

What You’ll Be Doing

Capturing content throughout the day (training, recovery, conversations, quiet moments)

Shooting vertical content for Reels, Shorts, and Stories

Filming weekly podcast-style interviews on the road (run-and-gun setup)

Helping with basic editing or content batching when possible

Being embedded with a 3-person crew for the entire journey

Style & Energy I’m Looking For

Positive, upbeat, emotionally grounded energy

Comfortable filming real, vulnerable moments

Able to adapt to imperfect conditions (weather, light, noise, movement)

More focused on storytelling than perfection

Experience & Gear

Some hands-on video experience (school, freelance, personal projects all welcome)

Comfortable shooting handheld / run-and-gun

Own camera preferred (not required for the right person)

Drone experience is a big plus

Basic audio knowledge (lav mic, shotgun, or similar) a plus

This Is a Good Fit If

You’re excited by travel and long-term projects

You want real documentary experience, not staged shoots

You’re okay living simply and being “on” most days

You bring good energy and work well in a small team

Important Note

This is not a 9–5 role or a luxury road trip. Days can be long, schedules change, and the mission comes first. The right person will find this deeply rewarding.
