Job Summary

We’re seeking a New York or Philadelphia based VP of Product for Comcast Advertising to supercharge our goal of intense customer satisfaction and flawless execution along this journey. This role will achieve our future with a strong ability to drive success today. You will oversee all product management responsibilities supporting our media solutions business. Your 30+ person stateside team is arranged into four distinct product management areas (inclusive of UX), and partners closely with stateside and offshore peers across data, engineering, architecture, and technology operations – as well as leadership across our business. This role will report into the SVP of Technology & Product. To be successful in this role, you’ve had a significant product and people leadership role, ensuring the delivery of customer value for solutions ideated, defined and delivered by your team – via teams of developers or critical partners. You are a leader of leaders excited by setting a bold vision and building consensus and action necessary to deliver that vision at pace. Ideally, you have had some experience within the media and advertising landscape. But most importantly, you enhance overall team execution to achieve meaningful business results. You drive a product strategy that capitalizes on strengths, competitive advantage and differentiation. Incorporates broad knowledge to address complex, unusual, and critical issues. Develops long-term plans that impact the achievement of business results. Recognizes profitability and revenue potential in business opportunities.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Set and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap that drives differentiation and simplification.

  • Ensure clear understanding and alignment of purpose across business, technology, and partner teams.

  • Develop and mentor product leaders to build high-performing teams that deliver measurable customer and business value.

  • Partner with architecture, data, and engineering leadership to optimize capacity, increase velocity, and ensure delivery against roadmap commitments

  • Drive cross-functional decisions, resolve trade-offs, and remove roadblocks to accelerate innovation and product delivery.

  • Ensure that each step of our development process is focused on the right priorities to ensure arriving at our goals

  • Lead portfolio measurement: evaluate product performance, identify gaps, and prioritize innovation or sunset decisions.

  • Represent the product organization with senior executives and external partners with clarity and confidence.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years in senior product management leadership positions, ideally in the marketing or advertising technology space

  • Experience in delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment, with a demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into a prioritized, executable roadmaps

  • Ability to collaborate, motivate, and influence without authority and comfortable in a matrixed environment

  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position

  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases

  • Excellent communication skill

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $297,565.57 - $446,348.36

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
