Shop Manager/Dispatcher

The Shop Manager/Dispatcher is a key member of our team responsible for the handling/receiving of all product, stock and inventory needed for the business as well as managing a daily schedule of jobs for any changes or issues from start to completion. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

Ideally you have some prior experience in an office setting and have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and have strong organizational and time management skills.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Receive, check-in, organize and label all deliveries and incoming product.
  • Order and maintain stock and inventory par levels for shop.
  • Manage all shop equipment as well as fleet vehicles.
  • Handle all re-orders/re-scheduling of jobs as needed on a daily basis.
  • Invoice completed jobs on a daily basis.
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain a clean and safe environment in the shop.
  • Proactively manage schedule of future work including some routing decisions.
  • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Job Requirements
  • Prior knowledge of glass industry is a plus but not required
  • Physical ability to lift objects, handle and organize heavy pieces of inventory and glass
  • Strong organizational skills

Compensation: $37,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
