Location: Bristol

Shift: Sunday - Thursday

Job Description: Are you passionate about Warehouse and Logistics and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Bristol site. In this role, you will be using systems and scanners to receive and locate goods, pick and dispatch these goods, as well as general housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually loading and unloading pallets from lorries for multiple contracts.
  • This may involve occasional loading and unloading of palletised goods using a Bendi/Reach Truck.
  • Using the warehouse system & scanner to receive, locate goods into the racking, pick & dispatch whilst handling all caged goods with care and attention.
  • Replenishing and consolidation of stock when required and assembling pallets for orders to be safely stacked in racking.
  • Assisting when required within the warehouse to include wrapping and labelling of pallets.
  • General housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area and equipment.
  • Completing any relevant paperwork in line with the warehouse processes to include reporting any defects.

Required Experience:

  • Bendi forklift / Reach Truck/ LLOP licence is advantageous, although full in-house training can be provided.
  • Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with computerised warehouse management systems.
  • Good communication and team working skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
