Warehouse Operative - Picker

Location: Droitwich, Worcestershire

Salary: £19,500 - £23,809.50 per annum

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time

As an IT recycler and supplier of IT Services we have overseen more than 3 million devices through the IT lifecycle and, as a result, are perfectly placed to provide our customers with guidance and advice through this complex market. We offer a huge range of additional services, such as IT spares and logistics throughout the UK, as well as datacentre and office relocations, configuration and build, bonded stock, engineers and project managers along with Greensafe Global, our hardware specialist IT brokerage service.

Our Warehouse Operatives are responsible for facilitating the smooth running of the busy, fast paced warehouse operation, managing stock intake, stock inventory, sorting, stock management and preparing stock for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

Goods In

  • Complete the safe receipt & handling of products being delivered by internal & external hauliers, from all receipt avenues (new, used, returns).
  • Ensure stock is booked in accurately against correct customer portfolio using in-house stock management system.
  • Identifying potential risks upon receipt of goods (e.g., damages, special storage instructions, priority items etc) and liaise with the Services Team.

Stock Control

  • Correct handling all stock to prevent loss/damage.
  • Sorting and segregating all stock correctly.
  • Locating stock in correct location physically & on stock management system.
  • Complete cycle count activities & report findings.

Picking & Dispatch

  • Accurately pick (multiple SKU) orders in line with SLA.
  • Ensure any over-picks are relocated accurately.
  • Palletising stock securely

General Duties

  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with internal processes and policy.

  • Hardworking, reliable and punctual.
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fit and healthy, prepared to be on their feet for most of the day.
  • Available to do overtime when necessary.
  • +2 years’ experience working within a Warehouse environment.
  • A flexible approach to a variety of tasks.
  • An excellent team player with a positive attitude.
  • Valid forklift/Bendi licence is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time, Mon-Fri working hours 37.5 hour a week contract. Permanent salary.
