LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK

SHIFT & HOURS: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Day Shift: Mon - Fri

VSS Logistics is recruiting a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team. We are seeking a dependable, qualified entry-level individual for the position of Warehouse Specialist I to join our DAY SHIFT.

If you have previous warehouse experience (picking, packing, cycle counting and bin maintenance), you are the ideal candidate to apply for this position.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Pick material from warehouse locations; assemble kits per List of Material (LOM) with quality/accuracy
  • Confirm transactions performed into an inventory system
  • Receive packages and breakdown of material
  • Accurately perform required daily cycle counts of warehouse locations; entering the counts into an inventory system
  • Assist inventory supervisor/team with shelf-life audits/tasks (First in - First out method);
  • Pick material for customer orders and affix proper labeling to packaging;
  • Other inventory tasks, as required, to ensure all areas meet daily metrics. These tasks may include assisting in various warehouse areas.
  • Perform general bin maintenance
  • Other Level 1 warehouse duties, as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work the required 40-hour per week shift
  • Ability to meet contractor-required background check
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Previous experience with computers/data skills is required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required (Word, Excel)
  • Must take pride in work performance and have keen attention to detail
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • One-year experience in warehousing, inventory control, quality, manufacturing and/or material handling is required
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to meet the daily, weekly or monthly metrics for the tasks assigned
  • Contribute maximum daily effort to achieve individual and team goals
  • Be responsible and accountable for job performance and accuracy

  • Foster a diverse, team environment
  • High School diploma required
