We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of outgoing and incoming shipments. This position involves operating warehouse equipment, inventory control, and ensuring that products are handled securely and safely. The individual in this role must demonstrate strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. The warehouse team lead is expected to work in a professional, courteous manner and establish excellent working relationships with the entire team and fellow employees.

Job Functions Include But Are Not Limited To:

Order Preparation & Shipping:

  • Prepare and verify orders for shipment by checking product quantities, specifications, and packaging.
  • Securely handle products during the shipping process to prevent damage and ensure quality standards.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and update inventory, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.

Receiving & Inventory Management:

  • Receive incoming shipments and update inventory records promptly and accurately.
  • Inspect products upon arrival for any damage or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate personnel.

Equipment Operation & Maintenance:

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts, and Crown lifts to move, store, and retrieve products as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment to ensure it is in safe and operational condition and report any maintenance needs.

Warehouse Organization & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment, ensuring the smooth flow of goods.
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks, including organizing product storage and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Experience & Skills:

  • Proficient in operating warehouse equipment, including Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts, and Crown lifts.
  • 3 or more years of Working experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order processing.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse setting with a strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices.
  • Experience using computers and scanning tools for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately handle and track inventory.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others to achieve warehouse goals.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in varying warehouse conditions.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position based onsite.
  • Occasional overtime may be required depending on shipping and receiving volumes.
  • Must adhere to all warehouse safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

This role is integral to maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse operation while leading a dedicated team toward continuous improvement.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
